Synopsis :

Katsura rings the doorbell to deliver some sweets to Gintoki as a token of his appreciation. Sadaharu answers the door and bites Katsura’s head.

A man comes to Yorozuya for help to find his missing daughter. She has been gone for a whole week and nobody knows where she is. The daughter is a rebel who likes to party all the time. The father is worried she got mixed up in some trouble but doesn’t want the police involved since that would cause a public scandal. Gintoki has a hangover and throughout the whole conversation he makes jokes about the daughter’s pocine resemblance after seeing her picture by making passing references to ham, called ha-mu in Japanese. Incidentally the katakana for ha-mu are combined to form the daughter's name "Kimiko".

The group goes to parties to ask people if they have seen the girl but none have. Gintoki gives up and tells Shinpachi to deal with it. Shinpachi stands up to yell at Gintoki and bumps into a man. The man castigates Shinpachi for having dust on his clothes and walks away. Kagura comes to Shinpachi with a fat man and says they should pass him off as the missing daughter. He falls to the ground and, after closer inspection, they realize he is not drunk. The bartender comes over and takes the man away saying everybody is going “shabu shabu” on him. The bartender warns them of a new drug on the street they should avoid.

Gintoki is in a bathroom stall complaining about his hangover. A lady walks up to his stall and asks him for drugs. A gang attacks the women and Gintoki leaves the stall to see what is going on. The lady is revealed to be the missing daughter. Another part of the gang finds Shinpachi and Kagura and reveal themselves: the Harusame space pirates. Back in the bathroom, Daraku is trying to get a stain off his tailored clothes. Daraku and Gintoki start to fight. Gintoki tells Daraku he shouldn’t be pushing drugs on young girl but Daraku explains she came to him first. Gintoki tries to leave the bathroom with the girl and sees that Shinpachi and Kagura have been captured. Daraku continues his attack and Gintoki is forced out a window with the girl.

Gintoki has a dream about the Joui war where he is trying to save a man. A skeleton tells him to abandon the man since Gintoki doesn’t have the strength to save him. Gintoki wakes up and he is inside a house bandaged. Katsura walks in the room and explains that the drug “Paradise” has been going around lately. The anti-amanto group is trying to eradicate this evil. He also explains that Harusame space pirates are the largest crime syndicate in the Milky Way. Their main mode of profit is the distribution of illegal drugs. Gintoki starts to leave to save his friends. He explains that they may be a burden but life wouldn’t be fun without them. Katsura decides he will go along and help.

Daraku plans to get rid of Kagura and Shinpachi, who are currently under his captivity. An Amanto walks in and tells Daraku there are some weird men outside. Daraku says he is busy. The weird men are Gintoki and Katsura disguised as space pirates that want to join Harusame. They both attack the guard. On the ship, Shinpachi is woken up and sees Daraku threatening to throw Kagura into the water. Daraku thinks they are rebels and ask where their base is. Kagura kicks Daraku in the face and falls towards the water. Gintoki runs along the ship and saves Kagura. Katsura blows up the storehouse where the Paradise is stored. Gintoki and Daraku fight with Gintoki winning. The daughter Kimiko is returned to her father.
